We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Logistics Team Lead

Job Description

The Logistics Team Lead will be responsible for managing, supervising & controlling logistic activities, including balancing, scale-in & scale-out, land transportation, maintenance & repair & equipment control. Managing logistics coordinators. Managing logistics budgets. Managing equipment balancing activities, managing empty stocks & ensuring sufficient stocks according to commercial requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the logistics team and department.
• Manage drop-off of containers by clients.
• Reporting of damaged containers to the claims team.
• Manage West/South Africa damaged container monitoring in liaison with Finance.
• Manage West/South Africa empty container sales monitoring in liaison with Finance.
• Biweekly reporting of non-moved containers to commercial team for follow up.
• Ensure effective management of logistics financial and budget.
• Daily empties stock report and container Inventory update.
• Repair and Maintenance of reefer containers.
• Verify of transporters before onboard.
• Handle invoice/bill reconciliation.
